Jada's Birthday

Okay sorry for the delay in the post. On Tuesday we had our own little family birthday party. We hid the presents and made her find them



And for dinner I let her pick her birthday dinner and of course she chose Spaghetti and Garlic bread.

Then Friday Night we had a sleep over with Chloe and Zoey. We slept out on the trampoline. I stayed out there until Mace woke up at around 3:00am ish, and I must have fallen asleep, and the next thing I know the kids are yelling "Help us, we're dying!!! HELP..... Someone...." So I went bookin it downstairs to find that well lets just say I forgot to turn our sprinkler system off, so they got a wet awakening!



Later that Morning Chloe M. Came over and joined in on the fun.




Okay so then our family was on Sunday. So after showing Jada all these cakes she still insisted on her purple dragon. Saturday night I started by cooking 2 cakes so they could cool while we slept and kinda give me a jump start for tomorrow. Sun. morning came and I cooked 3 more (yes that is a total of 5!) I had the dragon frosted pretty much for the most part with a couple of finishes, the eyeballs in the marshmallows for the eyes and the spikes, and sprinkles and it was a done deal. It was coming on around 3:30 and I went into the bathroom to wash my hands of all the frosting and this is what I came back to find.....

Oh yeah it tipped over and poor little Jada says "mom, look my dragon is sleepin'" oh I was livid. I said some choice words, called Dan at work, called my sister Em, and said some more bad words because at this point I had no Idea what to do people were going to start coming in a couple of hours and I had NOTHING ready. So with the help of my sis, and Dan coming home early and Stuart watchin' Mace I was able to shower, and put together this flip flop cake. The flip flops are actually the size of Jada's feet. Kinda a fun fact!!! Considering the time I had I think it turned out just dandy!!!

Happy Fathers Day / Kendall's Birthday

Happy Fathers Day to all the wonderful Fathers in our lives. Dan your amazing with our two little ladies! Papa we love toooooo much and dont know what we would do without you. And Grandpa Dunkley you are amazing!! We love you ALL SOOOO much.

Jada's Birthday???

Okay so I need some advice from all of you....Jada is turning 5 next week and I usually maker her birthday cake, however this year she is not set on what she wants for her cake so I have been looking and can't deciede what to make. The only thing that she has told me is a purple dragon, or a polly pocket cake. So I need some ideas from ANY of you. Here are some pics that I found to get your mind stirring.
