Visiting Steph

So this last week the girls and I drove down to Paragonah to see our sweetest friends from Arizona Steph, Adree and Patton. Steph was driving up for the week while Jeff was gone hunting and her bro was leaving on a mission. So lucky us we had the chance to go see her for the first time in over 2yrs. It was soooo nice to finally see her and her little ones. We just hung out, let the kids play, talked and talked etc....... The funniest thing was that Mace was just taken back by Adree, she followed her EVERYWHERE. Adree bless her little heart was as patient as she could be but I mean honestly who wants someone following them everytime they move???? Anyway here are some pics to share our adventure with you.... oh ya I forgot to give a quick update on Macer, we went down for her appt. with Dr. Swoboda on Tuesdsay before we headed out, and the doc just wants to rule out another syndrome that she is wondering about so we are going to do a echocardiogram in a couple of weeks and she said if that comes back ok then she wants to refer me to another Neurologist for a second opinion to maybe see if she is overlooking something that maybe someone else will catch. It kinda made me sad knowing we probably wont follow up with Swoboda anymore......She has been such a WONDERFUL doctor to work with. It is not very often that you talk to the actual doctor herself on the phone. So if any of you ever need a GREAT Neurologist she's your lady!!!!!

K, so keep in mind I am a very SKILLED IDAHO driver so dont try this UNLESS you are from Idaho because most Utards have a hard time driving period let alone driving AND taking pictures of amazing sunsets like this on their way to Paragonah!!!!!!!

So Patton bless his stinkin' heart, Every morning he would wake up before anyone and put his warm clothes on his hat and whatever and go play outside by himself until everyone woke up. I tell you what it is a good thing he lives far enough away that I cant go and kidnap him, because I would in a heart beat!!! He reminds me so much of that little man off Jerry Maguire.

Hoogle Zoo

So about a week ago we took the little ladies to Hoogle Zoo. Jada for some reason was excited to see a snake, Me of course the monkeys, Dan didn't really care either way, and Mace was just excited to go and see EVERYTHING!!!

Of course we had to stop first and last thing to play with the child magnet!!! I dont know what it is about this but even I cant resist touching it at least once....

Besides the Snake this was another one of Jadas favorites. She LOVES to ride trains. As you can tell she was more then excited about showing Mace just how fun a train really is! Mace was catching on pretty quick and started pointing things out to Jada throughout the ride.

What a Cheeser!!! How could you just not want to suck her lips off???

So this guy was wondering what he was going to have for dinner I think.....

She finally found it..... the snake she had been looking forward to. I dont know what was the deal, but the whole time she kept asking when she could see a snake. I didn't even know she liked snakes but she watched them for quite some time!!!

This little guy was a fav. for the girls as well. Mace LOVED him. I would say hands down this was her favorite. I think its because it was so busy running up, down, back and forth and she (Mace)could stand up and just watch him all on her own.

My true Love, right here!!!! I just stood there for quite some time until Dan and the girls had to come back and get me. He was so stinkin' cute. He would swing around on the branches, then go sit up on the top and just tap his little fingers on his knees, and just look around at everyone. Oh my heck someday I would KILL to have him as MINE!!!!!! But honestly isn't he sooooo handsome??!!?? Someday.......

Bean and I watching the elephants...... Everytime we come to see the elephants we cant help but think of you Andi!!!

And of course the Zebra...... What would a Zoo be without a Zebra honestly??

Peach Jam Virgin

Ok, so it all started the other day at the Farmers Market.........I was going through with Andi when I just grabbed a sample of one of the fresh peaches that they had cut up. WOW!!!! there were firecrackers going off in my mouth you could say. They were sooooo good. Normally the texture, and the flavor is not my fav. but they must have done something to those peaches that day that got me hooked!!! So after my escapade of telling the guy (he was about my age or older) that I HAD TO HAVE the EXACT peaches as what the sample consisted of because when I got home and cut them up and they didn't taste the EXACT SAME, I was going to be VERY, VERY mad!!! He gave me a basket of them and I was on my merry little way. Moving right along I talked to my sweet little friends at Treehouse (my work) and got myself some more peaches from Tiff, who lives in Brigham. Then Deon was telling me that she was going to make some jam with all her peaches and I wanted to join in on the fun since I have never made freezer jam. So we set our date, and here's the rest..............

So first you have to start with some good fresh peaches from BRIGHAM (thanks Tiff),

All your other supplies, Karo syrup, Sugar, Containers, MCP pectin, Lemon Juice.......

and a WONDERFUL hostess named DEON!!!!! Thanks soooooo much Deon, I had a blast and your simply amazing!!!!!!!!

Then you need to peel, cut, mix, ADD....... Oh which brings me to one little, tiny, tid bit..... DONT FORGET TO ADD THE SUGAR.....one small little step that I forgot, my supervisor started having to much faith in me but I wasn't really ready to spread my wings and fly YET!

Oh and most importantly make sure that you have your littlest lady watching from a far so she can make the jam with you next time!!!!

So then at half time Colin brought some entertainment for Mace..... And Yes that is a real chicken, and Yes it is inside Deon's house..... but only for a very, very, very short visit.

Bless her little heart, I am here to tell you if you need a good little teacher I know just the lady...

Mace's Birthday

I honestly cant believe that she really is 2yr already......she just amazes me more and more everyday with how patient, and laid back she is. Dont get me wrong she is getting a little fire underneath her these days but considering she is 2 and cant really talk or communicate other than with her signs, I am sure its frustrating to her..... but she is normally just a happy camper to be here.

So just a tid bit about some of her fav's, habits, and funny things about her:

fav movie: She doesn't really watch TV, but If I had to pick I would say Chicken little
Favorite toy right now: Her baby that The Greenes gave her, and her shopping cart, and her new purse.
Funny things about her: She LOVES bugs and animals. Short story time........So the other day I was putting some laundry away upstairs, and I was in Mace's room and Jada & Mace were in Jada's room playing. I was just about done hanging up her clothes when I hear Jada from the other room "AHHHHH Mom you ahh, mom you really better come see" from Jada. So I go in and oh ya Mace was sitting on the floor poking at something.... I couldn't really see it very well so I got closer, oh ya it was a big fat Wolf spider (still alive) I just sat there in ahhh, not really knowing what to do as she is poking it with her finger and just laughing. Its legs were still moving and all. I dont know how she caught it or what-have-ya but it just makes me sick to think about it!!!!!Oh well at least she will be able to kill them for me.
okay back to her fav's, she loves the window rolled down in the car, of course Jada that is when she is being nice to her, OHHHHH and her very, very, very most fav thing is HAIR, if you know Mace at all she is always going for your hair, chin hair, short hair, long hair, whatever......
